The metal structure, composed of mullions and transoms, is generally filled with glass, providing outstanding architectural performance.

Other common infill solutions include natural stone cladding panels, metal panels, detached slats made from various materials (such as shutters or sun-shading systems), opening windows, and dedicated ventilation openings.
