The new Schüco FWS 50 / FWS 60 mullion-and-transom façade combines ease of installation with high energy efficiency, in line with the Passive House standard.
The Schüco FWS 50 / FWS 60 façade sets new benchmarks in terms of fabrication and energy efficiency. To further develop these tried-and-tested systems, particular focus has been placed on optimising fabrication and on-site installation. New pre-assembled components, for example in the workshop, enable construction processes to be accelerated and thus streamlined.
The Schüco FWS 50 / FWS 60 façade offers architects numerous creative and combinatorial possibilities – including the SI variant with Passive House certification – in the most common exposed sections. In future, very heavy glazing panels will be even easier to install, thanks to the new range of glass supports, whilst maintaining the same level of load transfer.
A new cable duct system enables window and door fabricators to safely integrate electrical components into the mullion-and-transom façade.
